CBS Media Ventures is developing a new daytime talk show hosted by Jonathan Scott, best known as one half of the 'Property Brothers' duo. A pilot episode will be filmed in New York later in June, with a potential slot in the network's fall 2027 syndication lineup.
The working title is 'Better! With Jonathan Scott,' and the show aims to 'inspire audiences with fresh ideas to live better, all while having fun doing it,' according to a logline. It will feature interviews with celebrity guests and lifestyle experts.
If picked up, CBS Media Ventures will sell and distribute the series to local TV stations. Scott's entry into daytime comes as several major shows, including 'The Kelly Clarkson Show,' 'Access Hollywood' and 'Sherri,' have left the air this year.
Scott co-hosts the long-running Canadian reality series 'Property Brothers' with his twin brother, Drew, and also appears on HGTV's 'Celebrity IOU,' where they renovate homes for people nominated by famous guests. He has renovated over 1,000 homes and is a climate activist and humanitarian with ties to Habitat for Humanity.
