GMB viewers demand Ed Balls sacking over interview

Good Morning Britain viewers have taken to social media with fury after presenter Ed Balls interviewed Reform UK's Zia Yusuf, with many calling for him to be sacked.

During the breakfast show, Balls questioned Yusuf about the murder of Henry Nowak, whose killer, Vickrum Digwa, is preparing to return to court to appeal for a reduced sentence.

Questioning sparks outrage

Balls asked Yusuf: "Henry's wider family had been critical about being drawn into politics at that time; do you have any regret?"

He continued: "It felt as though, for a period, Nigel Farage was supporting protestors because it did become quite violent in Southampton. Is there any regret on your side on that?"

The line of questioning left viewers enraged, with one fuming: "Ed Balls should be sacked for this @GMB. Disgraceful."

Viewers demand immediate action

Another demanded that Balls should be "immediately sacked. No payout or compensation."

A third claimed: "It's always about the reaction with these cretins, not the source of it..."

One disappointed viewer blasted: "They always try to get a gotcha moment. Weren't these imbeciles the first ones to say that Farage was using Henry's death for political gain? That's what @edballs and @GMB have just done. And you, @susannareid100, just sat there. Disgusting."
