Corrie fans spot CCTV clue that could expose Brody

Coronation Street fans believe they have spotted a crucial clue that could prove Brody Michaelis's involvement in the destruction of Underworld. On the ITV soap, Carla Connor's (Alison King) business has been struggling financially in recent months.

The soap legend faces losing the business due to its financial issues. This week, she informed staff members such as Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) and Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) that she is struggling to make ends meet, and that they would not be receiving their Christmas bonus.

Idris and Brody's plan

What Carla does not know is that businessman Idris Nazir (Kal Nazir) has set his sights on Underworld in a bid to take it over, and it appears he will do whatever it takes. With Brody's help, Idris got the youngster to let him into Underworld to cause some drama. Inside, he used a lighter to activate the sprinkler system before escaping through the back door.

As water rushed out of the building, a devastated Carla headed inside, where she found all her stock damaged and water flowing and dripping throughout the entire building.

Fallout continues

In Wednesday's episode (November 4), the fallout continued. Carla had to break the news to her staff that she could only afford to pay them one more wage, and that the factory would not be reopening anytime soon due to the damage caused. Brody was left feeling terrible after realising the true impact of his actions.

To make things worse, Carla told wife Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) that she never serviced the sprinklers, so it is unlikely the insurance will pay out.

Fans spot CCTV clue

However, fans are now certain that the incident will backfire on Brody after spotting a clue. On X, fans pointed out how Brody might have been seen in the factory's CCTV.

"Hopefully someone will actually look at the extensive CCTV and realise that Brody damaged the factory," said one person. Someone else added: "But are we expected to believe the factory has no alarm system, no CCTV cameras."

A third chimed in: "Body will get himself jailed as he'll be on CCTV entering the factory in broad daylight." Another viewer said: "Surely the factory has CCTV!"
