Corrie: Daniel attacks Adam in bloody street brawl

Adam Barlow is set to be left covered in blood on Coronation Street next week after his uncle Daniel Osbourne discovers his betrayal over the sale of Weatherfield High school land and confronts him in a violent brawl.

The pair have clashed for years, from the 2017 attack on Ken Barlow to Daniel's parenting of his son Bertie and various family dramas. The latest row centres on Adam's partner Alya Nazir and her uncle Idris Nazir, a ruthless businessman carving up Weatherfield businesses to build his own property empire.

Daniel discovers the betrayal

Daniel, who has a passionate stance on capitalism, campaigns to save the school land by submitting an article to the Gazette. This leaves Adam and Alya struggling to hide their guilt, as their legal firm is secretly representing Idris behind Daniel's back.

Next week, Daniel discovers Adam and Idris's involvement in the sale of the school land and furiously confronts Adam for stabbing his own flesh and blood in the back. Adam tries to explain that he could not afford to turn down the business, but Daniel is not having any of it and things turn nasty.

Blood on the Cobbles

Ken and Amy are horrified to find Daniel and Adam brawling in the street. Tyrone pulls the men apart, but the damage is done to Adam's suit, which is ripped to shreds and covered in blood. When Adam reveals he is due in court, Tyrone points out he cannot go looking like he has just done ten rounds in the ring.

The question remains whether Adam's conflict with Daniel will be the wake-up call he needs to switch sides.
