Corrie: Carla's Underworld future, Kit collapse, Debbie chaos

Next week on Coronation Street, Carla Connor-Swain faces the aftermath of an attempt to destroy Underworld, while Kit Green collapses before a bombshell revelation. The week begins with a special episode focusing on Debbie Webster's Angels, as she gathers Abi Webster, Bernie Winter-Alahan, Christina Boyd, Sally Metcalfe, and Glenda Shuttleworth for a surprise for her son, Carl.

Debbie empties a plastic crate onto the carpet, revealing hundreds of photographs taken over the years, and explains she needs their help to make a photo book for Carl's 40th birthday. What starts as a fun bonding experience quickly descends into chaos as past tensions surface among the women. Amid heated confrontations regarding family history and past trauma, the group struggles to keep the celebration afloat. While some find solace in confiding about their own personal burdens, others face difficult decisions about their futures. By the end of the evening, the air is cleared, and the women unite to move forward, though several must navigate significant, life-altering choices in private.

Debbie's Retirement and Prison Visit

As the week continues, at the flat, Debbie reveals she's retiring and tells her husband, Ronnie Bailey, that she's signed the hotel over to him and would like Ryan Connor to become his right-hand man. Meanwhile, Christina visits Richie Parkinson in prison and, in a bid to win his trust, claims to have a brother who went through a similar situation. Richie is grateful for her apparent support, but George Shuttleworth worries that she's getting out of her depth.

Later, having taken a call from social services, Tim Metcalfe informs Sally that she's been cleared of any wrongdoing, and Lucy Parkinson, Richie's daughter and Christina's granddaughter, will be coming back to live with them next week, leaving Sally stunned. In the café, Sally confides in Christina that she's worried about Lucy's return.

Underworld's Uncertain Future

Elsewhere in Weatherfield, having shown the loss adjuster around the factory, Carla tells her wife, Lisa Connor-Swain, that she doubts they'll pay out. Also in the street, Brody Michaelis watches in disgust as Idris Nazir heads over and pretends to be sympathetic. Having received an email from Carla informing them that she's selling the factory, Sally and Sean Tully are gutted. Brody calls at the pub to find Sally in tears, and it's not long before Brody confronts a furious Idris and threatens to tell Carla what he did.

Later, in the café, Carla tells Sean that nobody is more upset about the factory than she is, and the last thing she wants is to lay everyone off, but she has no choice. Again, Idris feigns sympathy. Once in the Rovers, Idris corners Brody and assures him that once the factory is his, the workers will get their jobs back and on better pay.

Kit's Collapse and Pregnancy Bombshell

In the hospital chemo room, Kit is overcome by a wave of loneliness. Sarah Platt confides in Bernie that Kit is avoiding her, and Bernie reassures her that he is pushing everyone away. Afterwards, a stunned Sarah sees Kit collapse outside the tram station and rushes to his aid. When Kit breaks down at the flat, Sarah is taken aback to see him so fragile and pulls him in for a hug. Later, with no sign of Sarah, Ryan offers to accompany Bethany Platt to her scan, leaving her grateful. Meanwhile, Sarah insists Kit get checked out at the hospital after his collapse yesterday.

When they spot Bethany and Ryan leaving the maternity department, Sarah realises she had forgotten about Bethany's scan and reveals to a stunned Kit that Bethany is pregnant. Having returned home, Sarah tells Kit that she'd like him to move back permanently so that they can all be one happy family again. Also next week, at No.8, Jodie Ramsey's phone rings out on the sideboard. Shona Platt answers it and her face drops. Shona and her husband, David, later discuss the threatening phone call and can't help wondering if it was orchestrated by Jodie herself.
