Coleen Nolan 'can't' visit sister's grave in emotional admission

Coleen Nolan made a heartbreaking admission during Thursday's episode of Loose Women, revealing she cannot bring herself to visit her late sister Linda's grave.

The ITV star spoke candidly about her sisters Linda and Bernie, who both died from cancer, during the October 22 episode. The discussion followed Sharon Osbourne's revelation that friends still message her husband Ozzy, who died in 2025.

Keeping Memories Alive Through Phone Messages

Kaye Adams shared that she still has images of her late mother on her phone and said she "wouldn't dream" of deleting them. Coleen then added: "Yeah, I've still got Linda and Bernie's mobiles in my phone. It'll come up all of a sudden, a message that they sent me. I've got the messages, I've got a voicemail from Bernie."

She continued: "I'd be so upset if they deleted. I don't know why. I still feel that it gives me a connection with them. It's a personal connection; you can have connections in other ways that I'm not really into. People do, 'Oh, do you not think you should delete that now?' I'm like no. I want it always on my phone."

Unable to Visit the Grave

During the conversation, Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon told the panel that she often visits her father's grave. She commented: "For me, personally, I like having somewhere I can go and think, 'I'm going to see my dad'."

Coleen replied: "You know it's really weird? I can't, I can't go."

Last year, Coleen's sister Linda died at the age of 65 after a long battle with secondary breast cancer. Linda was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and was given the all-clear in 2011. However, in 2017, she discovered the disease had returned, with tumours found in her hip bone and pelvis.

Linda's Social Media Page Still Active

Coleen has lost two sisters to cancer, with Bernie dying in 2013 from breast cancer. Elsewhere in the discussion, Coleen shared that someone is currently running Linda's social media page, which she does not like.

She commented: "Linda's still on social media. Someone runs her social media page. I don't like. I just don't. It upsets me a lot."

She added: "Especially, when pictures are put up, or sometimes that person will like or comment on my page, but it says 'Linda Nolan'. I guess I need to speak to my brothers and sisters about it, really, because maybe they like it.

"It's up to us to keep Linda's memory alive if we want to do it in that way. They always post, and I do now, on birthdays and Christmas, we remember them on those days."

Loose Women is available to watch weekdays on ITV from 12.30pm.
