Free-to-Air Coverage Details
Channel 4's agreement with Sky Sports enables full live coverage of the British Grand Prix, including practice, qualifying, and the Sprint race. All sessions will be shown in full on Channel 4, requiring only a TV licence. The Sprint format adds two qualifying sessions and two races to the weekend schedule.
Friday's action begins with a single practice session at 12:30pm, followed by Sprint Qualifying at 4:30pm (coverage from 4pm). Saturday's Sprint race starts at midday, with build-up from 11am. Qualifying for the main race follows at 4pm. Sunday's main event coverage starts at 1:30pm, 90 minutes before the race start.
Centenary Celebrations and British Driver Hopes
This year's Grand Prix marks 100 years since Britain's first race at Brooklands. Silverstone has hosted every British GP since 1987.
