Billie Eilish fans who missed out on her latest tour can now experience the action from the front row in the new film Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D). The concert movie was filmed during a 2025 performance in Manchester, and it turns out the singer's famous mother played a key role in bringing it to life.
How Maggie Baird Helped Bring the Film to Life
The Grammy-winning artist recently revealed that director James Cameron reached out to her mother, Maggie Baird, with the concept for the film. According to Billie, Cameron 'wrote an email to my mum because his wife is friends with my mum, or they had worked together. He literally had the full idea already. He was like, "Why hasn't anybody filmed Billie's concert in 3D? Can we? Can I?"'
