Big Brother star Rhianna Collins has hinted that her romance with Omar El Mayer may be over, despite previously telling him she was in love with him. The former housemate, who was evicted from the ITV reality show last Friday, shared a cryptic TikTok video that has sparked speculation about her relationship status.
Romance Under Scrutiny
Rhianna and Omar grew close during their time in the Big Brother house, with their relationship becoming one of the series' main talking points. However, their romance was not without controversy, as viewers raised concerns about how Omar treated Rhianna.
The situation became serious enough that Big Brother intervened to speak to Omar about his behaviour, while charity Women's Aid also criticised his conduct towards his love interest.
Change of Heart
Things came to a head during friends and family day, when Rhianna's sister warned her that the family was unhappy with how Omar had been treating her. Now that she is back in the outside world, Rhianna appears to have had a change of heart.
On TikTok, she shared a clip of herself miming along to Sabrina Carpenter's song 'Nobody's Son', with a caption that seemed to reference her experience with Omar: "After watching THAT episode and seeing all my self worth come back."
During the clip, Rhianna sings along to the lyrics: "That boy is corrupt. Could you raise him to love me maybe? He sure f***** me up." She also added another message to the post, writing: "Took me a second."
Viewer Backlash
The post has led to speculation that Rhianna has no intention of rekindling her relationship with Omar when he leaves the house later this week. But her apparent change of heart has also prompted some viewers to question whether her feelings were genuine in the first place.
Despite previously telling Omar she "loved him", some followers accused her of putting on an act during their time together. One person commented: "Oh she was so fake in the house!" Another wrote: "Definitely used Omar to stay in, if she got put up would of been out the first week!" A third added: "Was dying for showmance, didn't work out your way."
Rhianna and Omar are expected to come face-to-face again during Big Brother: The Reunion this Friday night, where viewers could get a better idea of where they stand.
