VisionQuest Episode Count: 8 Episodes, Finale November 10

VisionQuest, the WandaVision spin-off starring Paul Bettany as the synthezoid Vision, will run for eight episodes in total, with its finale, titled Forever, scheduled to air on Disney+ on November 10. Six episodes have aired so far following a two-episode premiere on October 13.

The series, the 18th in the MCU, follows Vision as he seeks to learn more about his origins by communicating with AI personas embedded in his programming. It began with a bounty placed on Vision's head, forcing him to go on the run with a mysterious teenager who may be his reincarnated son. The latest episode brought viewers closer to identifying the Client, the figure who hired Paladin (Todd Stashwick) to pursue Vision.

Remaining Episodes and Airing Schedule

The series has been airing weekly since its premiere. Episode seven, titled Immolation, will air on November 3, followed by the finale, Forever, on November 10. There is currently no indication that the series will return for a second outing.

Creator Terry Matalas discussed the potential for a second season when asked whether the series stands on its own as the conclusion of the WandaVision trilogy. Matalas responded: "I think that's up to the Marvel and Disney Gods. It doesn't necessarily have to [stand on its own]. There is a group of characters in situations that are certainly on their own island, if you will. Trying to figure out how to say this... You could very much see these characters again, if you want."

Critical Reception and Fan Response

Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum has not mentioned VisionQuest as a show that could potentially return. The series holds a Rotten Tomatoes score of 91%, with critics' consensus reading: "Picking up where WandaVision left off, this series investigates the humanity beneath the robot, where the artificial becomes reality with heart, deliberate emotion, and a clear-eyed VisionQuest."

Fans have shared their thoughts on IMDb, with one reviewer saying: "After WandaVision and Agatha All Along, this feels like a worthy conclusion to the trilogy, and I honestly couldn't have asked for much more. Paul Bettany is excellent as Vision, especially as the character tries to understand who he is after being rebooted and losing the memories that once defined him." They added: "What really impressed me, though, was the balance between the action, science fiction, mystery and emotional storytelling."

VisionQuest streams weekly on Disney+.
