The critically acclaimed spy thriller The Copenhagen Test is now available to stream for free on Channel 4 in the UK, after its initial debut on Peacock in the US in December.
The eight-episode series stars Simu Liu as Alexander Hale, a Chinese-American military veteran turned intelligence operative whose brain is hacked, allowing unknown parties to monitor everything he perceives. Melissa Barrera plays Michelle Cyr, a field operative at the Orphanage, an elite US intelligence oversight organisation.
The show's synopsis reads: 'Intelligence analyst Alexander Hale is used to dealing with secrets. But when his brain is hacked, someone else gains access to everything he sees and hears. With his allegiance under scrutiny and every move now a risk, can he uncover the culprits and clear his name?'
Fans have praised the series, with one viewer calling it 'one of the best shows of 2025' and another describing it as 'phenomenal'. Creator Thomas Brandon has hinted at a potential second season, stating: 'Wherever the show winds up going, it is designed to be ongoing.'
