Prime Video viewers have been urged to watch a new crime drama starring Grey's Anatomy legend Patrick Dempsey. The series, titled Memory of a Killer, is based on the 2003 Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer and the 1985 novel of the same name.

The show centres on Angelo Doyle, a contract killer and family man who begins to develop dementia. When an attempt is made on his pregnant daughter's life, Angelo must hunt down his enemy while concealing his diagnosis. The synopsis describes it as a redemptive story about a man losing his memory but gaining a conscience.

Dempsey leads the cast as Angelo, with Richard Harmon as his right-hand man Joe Ferrara. Odeya Rush plays Angelo's daughter Maria, and Daniel David Stewart portrays her husband Jeff. The supporting cast includes Peter Gadiot, Michael Imperioli, Michaela McManus, and Gina Torres.
