Percy Jackson and the Olympians has returned for its second season on Disney+, two years after the series first debuted. Based on Rick Riordan's book The Sea of Monsters, the new season follows Percy as he returns to Camp Half-Blood a year later, facing a changing friendship with Annabeth, the disappearance of Grover, and a new threat from the forces of Kronos.
The cast is led by Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri as Percy, Annabeth and Grover. Dior Goodjohn and Charlie Bushnell have been promoted to series regulars after appearing in guest roles in season 1 as Clarisse La Rue and Luke Castellan.
The first two episodes premiered on Wednesday 10th December, with subsequent episodes releasing weekly on Wednesdays. The season consists of eight episodes, with the finale scheduled for Wednesday 21st January 2026.
Fans need not worry about the series ending, as a third season has already been confirmed, adapting The Titan's Curse, the third book in Riordan's series.
