Ryan Murphy's 'The Beauty' Trailer Breaks FX Record with 190M Views

The trailer for Ryan Murphy's upcoming FX series 'The Beauty' has become the network's most-viewed trailer ever, amassing nearly 190 million views across social media platforms in seven days, according to Disney. The previous record holder was not disclosed.

The body horror series, which premieres on January 21 with three episodes on FX and Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally, follows FBI Agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) as they investigate the gruesome deaths of international supermodels in Paris. They uncover a sexually transmitted virus that transforms ordinary people into visions of physical perfection, with terrifying consequences.

Ashton Kutcher plays 'The Corporation,' a shadowy tech billionaire who has engineered a miracle drug called 'The Beauty' and will do anything to protect his empire, including unleashing his lethal enforcer, 'The Assassin' (Anthony Ramos). The cast also includes Jeremy Pope, Bella Hadid, Meghan Trainor, and many others.

The 11-episode season will roll out weekly, with two episodes in each of the final two weeks. Murphy created the series with Matthew Hodgson, based on a comic book series by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley.
