Netflix Fans Demand More Seasons of Cancelled Detective Show

Netflix has added all four seasons of 'The Cleaning Lady', a popular American crime drama that has become a binge-watch favourite. The series, which originally aired on Fox, follows Cambodian-Filipino surgeon Thony De La Rosa (Élodie Yung) as she becomes entangled with the mob in Las Vegas to secure medical care for her son.

After her visa expires, Thony is forced to work for gangster Arman Morales (Adan Canto) as a cleaner and doctor. The show, which ran for 46 episodes, has been praised for its suspense and emotional depth, with fans calling it 'extraordinary' and 'grounded'.

Despite its cancellation after four seasons, viewers are hopeful that its arrival on Netflix could lead to a revival. One fan described it as 'a tense, emotional survival story' carried by Yung's 'controlled, intense, and believable' performance.
