HBO Max has announced that its standalone streaming service will launch in the UK and Ireland on March 26. The platform will offer content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, DC Studios and Max Originals.
Viewers will have four subscription options: two ad-based tiers at £4.99 and £5.99 per month (the latter including downloads and recent releases), and two ad-free packages at £9.99 and £14.99 per month, with the top tier offering 4K Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos. TNT Sports will be available as a standalone or bolt-on for £30.99 per month.
Launch titles include the first season of Noah Wyle's 'The Pitt', both seasons of 'Euphoria', 'House of the Dragon', and the debut of DC's 'Green Lantern' series 'Lanterns'. Library content features 'Friends', 'Succession', 'The Sopranos' and 'Game of Thrones'. Future additions include Season 3 of 'Euphoria', Season 2 of 'The Pitt', and the 'Harry Potter' series in 2027.
Movies will be available, though the most basic tier will not include recent blockbusters like 'Sinners', 'One Battle After Another', 'Superman' and 'A Minecraft Movie'. TNT Sports will move from Discovery+ to HBO Max on launch day, offering Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Grand Slam tennis, Grand Tour cycling and the 2028 Olympic Games.

HBO Max will be available via app, hbomax.com, and through partners Sky and Amazon on major devices. Pre-registration begins March 12 on the App Store and Google Play.
