Fans of the epic sci-fi series Halo have only days left to watch it on Netflix, as the show is set to be removed from the platform on 28 February. The live-action adaptation of the popular Xbox video game franchise first arrived on Netflix in March last year, quickly climbing the UK charts of most-watched titles.
The series, originally a Paramount+ exclusive, follows super soldier Master Chief John-117 and his team of Spartans as they battle the alien Covenant. The first season scored 70% on Rotten Tomatoes, while the second improved to 90%. Pablo Schreiber stars as Master Chief.
Despite its eventual cancellation by Paramount, the show has garnered praise from viewers. One fan described it as 'everything I could have hoped for', highlighting the stunning visuals and intense action. Another called it 'epic', noting the 'amazing cinematography' and convincing cast.
Even non-gamers have enjoyed it, with one viewer claiming the production quality is 'on par with Star Wars or Star Trek'. Another called it 'pure fun, best sci fi since The Expanse and The Mandalorian'. Halo streams on Netflix until 28 February and remains available on Paramount+.
