HBO Max UK Launch Set for March 2026: Pricing, Tiers, and Content Revealed

Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service HBO Max will launch in the UK and Ireland on Thursday, March 26, 2026, more than five years after its US debut. The service will be accessible via its own website, as well as through Sky and Amazon Prime Video.

At launch, HBO Max will offer five subscription tiers starting from £4.99 per month. Sky Ultimate TV and Sky Q subscribers via Sky Stream and Sky Glass will receive the Basic with Ads tier at no extra cost. NOW Entertainment members will be automatically migrated to a new bundle combining NOW Entertainment and HBO Max Basic with Ads from March 26.

The platform will feature content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, DC Studios, and Max Originals. Key titles include the acclaimed US medical drama The Pitt, which will debut in the UK for the first time, with its second season rolling out weekly. Future Warner Bros. Discovery shows and movies, such as the DC series Lanterns, the miniseries DTF St. Louis, Rooster, and the upcoming Harry Potter TV series (set for 2027), will also be available.

Existing HBO and Warner Bros. library content will include Succession, The Sopranos, The Last Of Us, Friends, The White Lotus, It: Welcome To Derry, Sex And The City, The Big Bang Theory, and Game Of Thrones. The third season of Euphoria and House Of The Dragon season three are slated for April and later in 2026, respectively. Movie offerings include One Battle After Another, Sinners, Superman, A Minecraft Movie, Weapons, Dune: Part One, and all Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings films.

Under a partnership with Sky, any HBO original series that aired before the end of 2025 will remain with Sky. Sky subscribers will continue to access future HBO shows after this date at no extra cost via the bundled subscription. Existing Sky and NOW customers will receive additional content as part of their current deals, while new subscribers gain access to the full Warner Bros. Discovery slate under one subscription.
