Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, was reportedly pregnant when she ended her relationship with a Texan lover, according to revelations in a new Channel 4 documentary. The programme, titled 'Prince Andrew: The Musical', explores the downfall of Prince Andrew and includes details of Ferguson's personal life during the turbulent period.
The documentary claims that Ferguson, who has remained loyal to Prince Andrew throughout his recent scandals, was involved with a Texan man before returning to her ex-husband. The affair allegedly ended when Ferguson discovered she was pregnant, prompting her to bid farewell to her lover and reconcile with Andrew.
Ferguson and Andrew married in 1986 and had two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, before separating in 1992. Despite their divorce in 1996, they have continued to live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park. Ferguson has publicly defended Andrew, describing him as 'a very good and kind man'.
The documentary also revisits Andrew's earlier relationship with US actress Koo Stark, which ended in 1982 due to her involvement in a soft-porn film. The Palace reportedly questioned whether the Queen was aware of Stark's acting career before she was invited to Balmoral.
