Sarah Ferguson 'not welcome' at Andrew's new home, source says
Sarah Ferguson 'not welcome' at Andrew's new home

Sarah Ferguson is reportedly not welcome at Marsh Farm, the five-bedroom property on the Sandringham estate where Prince Andrew currently lives. A source told The Times: "The red setter, as she's known, is not welcome at Marsh Farm. She's persona non grata as far as Andrew is concerned."

Former couple's changed relationship

Andrew and Sarah were married for 10 years and continued living together at Royal Lodge after their divorce was finalised in 1996. The former Duchess of York once described the pair as "the happiest divorced couple in the world," but their relationship has since changed.

Both lost their major honours and titles following revelations about their connections with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. They were also forced to leave Royal Lodge.

Living arrangements and reports

Andrew, 66, now lives at Marsh Farm, while Ferguson, 67, has relocated outside the UK. It is reported that she is renting a six-bed gated property in the Home Counties, and a reunion with her former husband is considered highly unlikely.

Despite appearances of estrangement from the royal family, the source said Andrew is not struggling. They said: "Don't believe all that poor Andy [explicit]. He's having a very nice time, thank you very much. He goes out, he goes off shooting with friends, he sees his old chums who are very loyal to him. He's not sitting around feeling sorry for himself any more."

Fan mail and legal context

According to the Daily Mail, Andrew has been "receiving fan mail" since early April despite the scandals. The mail is thought to be opened by his part-time secretary, who replies with formal acknowledgements to well-wishers.

Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19, his 66th birthday, after newly released U.S. Justice Department documents revealed that he shared confidential and sensitive government information with Epstein. Both Andrew and Sarah have denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.
