Princess Beatrice Weds Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in Secret Ceremony with Queen

Princess Beatrice has married property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony attended by the Queen and close family, Buckingham Palace has confirmed. The wedding took place at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor on Friday 17 July, following a delay from its original date of 29 May due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The palace said the ceremony was held in accordance with government guidelines, which currently limit wedding guest lists to 30 people and prohibit receptions. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh attended what is believed to be their first family gathering since lockdown began.

The wedding was not announced in advance, and no pictures have been released. The couple began dating in autumn 2018 and became engaged during a weekend trip to Italy. Beatrice, ninth in line to the throne, works as vice-president of partnerships and strategy at AI firm Afiniti.
