The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly refusing to accept the prediction that Brits will never welcome her back in the UK, a source has said. Meghan Markle moved back to Britain in August with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, despite knowing she is not very popular in the UK.
Low profile in Britain
While Meghan has not made any official public engagements yet in Britain, she has been seen out and about enjoying UK life. It is believed that the duchess is also planning to begin making official public appearances in the near future.
Mindset of a challenge
Speaking about the duchess’s mindset now that she is back in the UK, a source close to Meghan said she “loves taking on a challenge” and will “fight back” even if the hostility stays strong.
The source told Closer magazine: “Meghan is very competitive, she loves taking on a challenge, and she’s coming back to the UK with the mindset that she can turn things around and win people over.
“She’s heard all the predictions that she’ll never be welcomed in England again, but she’s refusing to just roll over and accept that as the truth. There was a time when all the hostility she’s facing across the pond would have taken her down, but she’s stronger than she was six years ago, and she’s insisting that she’s ready to stand up and fight back.”
