Harry fears Meghan may want US return if isolated in UK

Prince Harry is reportedly concerned that his wife, Meghan Markle, may wish to move back to the United States if she becomes "too isolated," according to a royal commentator. The Duke of Sussex relocated to Britain with his family in August and has appeared upbeat about the move, while Meghan has kept a low profile.

Meghan's focus on family and school

Since returning, Harry has been seen at public engagements, but Meghan has remained out of the public eye. Her primary focus is reportedly helping Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, settle into their new UK school.

For Harry, Britain offers proximity to family and friends, but for Meghan, who is American, the move has separated her from her inner circle, including her mother, Doria Ragland. While this does not appear to be an immediate issue, it has been suggested that Harry worries whether Meghan will enjoy life in the UK and whether she might push for a return to America if she does not settle.

Royal commentator's view

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe told New Magazine: "It's a big adjustment for Meghan. I'm sure Harry would have instigated this move; it's Meghan going along with Harry as opposed to the other way around."

Larcombe continued: "He'll no doubt be worried that if she doesn't build a life for herself and is happy, she'll want to return home. To some extent, she almost needs to be admired to have made the move, but you do wonder how she fills her days." He added: "Probably her biggest challenge is not to get too isolated. She won't want to be confined to the walls of their Cotswolds house."

Private outings and future plans

While Harry has made public appearances in London and Birmingham, Meghan has only been seen in private, including visits to countryside pubs, Soho Farmhouse for pilates classes, and driving around the Cotswolds. It is not yet clear when she might attend an official public engagement in Britain.

Meghan is reportedly focused on her other ventures, including her As Ever brand, and there are rumours she is considering launching a yoga business. A source told RadarOnline: "Yoga has been part of Meghan's life for years, so this isn't about suddenly attaching herself to something fashionable. She genuinely loves it and understands the physical and mental benefits."

The source added: "She thinks a yoga business under her branding could be great in the UK. There is an enormous wellness market here, and she believes there is room to create something that feels premium but also welcoming and accessible." They noted that nothing has been finalised, but Meghan has been considering how her interest in wellness could develop into a commercial offering, potentially involving digital content, events, products or collaborations rather than a traditional studio.
