Harriet Phillips made a sweet nod to her marriage with her new husband Peter yesterday at Royal Ascot. The couple, who married on June 6, stepped out for the first time publicly as husband and wife since their wedding at the racing event on Tuesday. This was the first time they have been seen together since their wedding, which was just 10 days prior.
While Harriet has attended the racing event before, this was her first debut as Mrs Peter Phillips - her new married title that featured on her name badge. As well as proudly wearing the name badge, Harriet also made a sweet nod to her new name with a fashion accessory choice.
This was her Anya Hindmarch pearl Maud clutch, which had been personalised to have her new initials HP on it. This was seen as a sweet gesture and nod to her marriage to Peter, with the couple very much still in their newly-wed bubble.
Harriet paired the clutch with her outfit, which consisted of a baby-blue dress from Suzannah London and a matching hat. She was all smiles at the event, and even arrived as part of the royal carriage procession into the racecourse.
Her appearance sent royal fans into a frenzy, with many commenting on just how happy Harriet and Peter look. One fan wrote on X: “Mr and Mrs Phillips look like they’re very much still in the honeymoon phase at Royal Ascot!” Someone else said: “They seem like a good match.” Another person commented: “Beautiful couple.”
