Graham Norton Criticises Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding

Graham Norton has subtly criticised Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, saying he would have done certain things differently. The chat show host was among the 1,000 guests at the couple's ceremony at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3.

Celebrity Guests and Phone Ban

Adam Sandler served as the officiant, with A-list guests including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and Cindy Crawford. Other attendees included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Steven Spielberg and Karlie Kloss. All guests were asked to hand over their phones before the ceremony to prevent leaks, and were sworn to secrecy.

Norton's Comments on the Wedding

Speaking on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio UK, Norton said: "You saw things, you know, 'Oh, that's a lovely touch,' and then you saw things, like, 'Oh, I wouldn't have done that.'" He added: "It was a lovely, lovely wedding."

Earlier in the conversation, he described the anticipation of heading to the arena: "Being in the car, the big black car, and New York is all shut down, and you're heading toward Madison Square Garden, that was the kind of big, exciting [thing]."

Kelce's Reaction

Travis Kelce also spoke about the wedding in a press conference, saying: "MSG, man. I always told myself I'd go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking." He added: "My wife went when I was stuck in mini camp so I didn't get my opportunity to go then. It was kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being at that venue, the mecca of all sports venues … [and] get married there."

He thanked the owners for allowing the private event, saying: "I thank the owners for allowing us the opportunity to do that knowing we wanted a private event and everything. It was perfect."
