Emmerdale star teases all-out war for Caleb and Joe

Emmerdale's Will Ash has hinted that the simmering feud between Caleb Miligan and his nephew Joe Tate is about to escalate into all-out war, with Caleb vowing to take down his villainous nephew.

Caleb's Revenge Plan

Joe has done awful things in the village, from drugging people, having people framed for crimes, and even stealing Caleb's kidney. With Caleb desperate to finally get his revenge, more than one character could be caught in the crossfire, but the drama between Joe and Caleb is set to escalate massively.

Will said Caleb won't be backing down any time soon: "It'll probably end up being a war again, I think, with all that. I think Caleb's well up for it and kind of prepared for it, the kind of the fallout of what he's done. I don't think he'd ever back down to him."

Gloves Off

He added that Joe has it coming after everything he has done: "What he's done to everyone! The gloves are off for Caleb, definitely." Will didn't deny that we might see Caleb go after Home Farm again in the future, but for now his focus is just getting back at Joe.

He told us: "That's always there for him. It's a real thorn in his side, he feels like he's owed part of that house, or a big chunk of it, 'cause that's what he asked for last time when he got the land instead. He'd love to see Kim out on her backside as well."

Caleb's Tactics

Asked what Caleb is capable of and whether he could get more villainous again, Will went on: "I think he's quite... he's not as reckless as someone like Kev, Caleb's much more considered, so he will think of the consequences and what he can get away with. I don't think he could think like, 'I could kill Joe and get away with that,' so it's what he can get away with, but he'll push it as far as he possibly can to get back at Joe. It's fair dues. It's going to go off properly with it."

Will is loving the darker scenes with Caleb too: "It's always fun to play the stuff that's a bit more complex and a bit more of a darker edge. The dark stuff, he can't help but be drawn to that I think. He's always looking, whether it's the counterfeiting stuff. It just gives him a bit of a buzz."
