Loose Women star Vogue Williams returns to ITV show with baby update
Vogue Williams returns to Loose Women with baby update

Vogue Williams returned to the Loose Women panel on Monday, October 12, after giving birth last month, and shared an adorable update about her baby boy, who was waiting backstage during the show.

The ITV daytime show resumed with panelists Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, Jane Moore, and Vogue Williams discussing the latest news and headlines. Ruth Langsford welcomed Vogue back, saying: "It's a big welcome back to Vogue Williams," and added: "It's absolutely lovely to have Vogue back with us. Last time you were here you were heavily pregnant."

Vogue on her fourth baby and returning to work

Speaking about her fourth baby, Vogue admitted she felt "great" compared to her last appearance and said: "He's so good, I try not to jinx it though." The conversation turned to the "baby bubble" and whether her return to work after birth was planned.

She said: "I cannot ever sit down, I can't sit down and watch a movie, I don't sit still. With three other kids, it didn't feel like I was coming back." She added: "I got back from the hospital, we literally put the baby in the pram, and we walked up and collected the kids from school because I wanted them to see him and you wanted to be around."

Criticism over returning to work

Vogue said she "always wanted to go back to work" and noted: "It's so much more acceptable to bring the baby with you." The discussion then moved to criticism she had received about returning to work, with some fans saying it was "too soon."

Vogue responded: "I find it bizarre that anyone would think that they should have an opinion on someone else's parenting. I think as long as your kids are happy and healthy, and you're happy. I'm not a person who likes to sit at home. Some people like to stay at home." She admitted she would "pull her hair out" if she had to stay at home and said it was "never a question" that she wouldn't be out and about as soon as she could.

Ruth Langsford noted that people like to criticise, as Coleen Nolan shared her own experience, saying: "I had to go back to work. You do what you have to do." She added: "I'd hate to have a baby in this day and age with social media because you can't do right for doing wrong."

Vogue replied: "I kind of find it funny at this stage, I'm just like this is ridiculous. Sometimes I respond, sometimes I don't even block I don't want them to know I've seen it." Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
