Celebrity Traitors fans are convinced that traitors James Acaster and Maya Jama have accidentally revealed their identities after a challenge required them to make a Faithful yawn in plain sight.
In the latest episode, the traitors—James, Maya, and Kenny—were tasked with murdering one of the Faithful by making them yawn. While it is not yet known which Faithful fell victim, viewers believe the pair's exaggerated yawning drew suspicion from Ross, one of the most paranoid contestants in the castle.
Fans predict Ross will confront the traitors
On X, one user predicted a sequence of events: Jerry yawns and is murdered, Ross immediately suspects James and Maya, and Maya is banished. Another agreed that if Jerry yawns, Ross would certainly suspect the pair and become a threat to the traitors.
A Reddit user speculated that James and Maya would both say “Am I boring you?” at the same time, react awkwardly, and Ross would lead the charge against them when Jerry is found dead.
Ross's paranoia could be key
Ross has been notably paranoid in earlier episodes, regularly accusing others of trying to kill him in plain sight. Some fans worry this makes him more likely to notice the traitors' behaviour, while others think his tendency to cry wolf might work in the traitors' favour.
The Celebrity Traitors continues next Thursday at 8pm on BBC One.
