Myles Barnett, best known for his time on The Only Way Is Essex, has announced his engagement to girlfriend Isobel Scarlet Emery. The romantic proposal took place during a holiday in Tulum, Mexico, with the happy couple sharing their news on social media on November 15, 2025.

The reality star popped the question while the couple were enjoying a break in the picturesque location of Tulum. The special moment was captured in a photograph that showed Myles on bended knee at the top of a jungle canopy restaurant, famous for its stunning views. Further images shared by the pair showed them sharing a kiss in a moment of pure joy, alongside a close-up shot of Isobel's stunning diamond engagement ring.
Isobel confirmed the news on her Instagram, captioning the post: "Easiest Yes! Love you forever and always" accompanied by heart emojis. Friends and fans were quick to flood the comments section with congratulations, with former TOWIE star Clelia among the first to send her well-wishes.
Moving On From a Public Past
This engagement marks a significant new chapter for Barnett, who started dating Isobel in 2022, just eleven months after his very public split from Love Island star Kady McDermott. His relationship with McDermott, which began in 2018 shortly after his split from TOWIE co-star Courtney Green, was documented as being tumultuous, with the pair experiencing several breakups before finally ending things in 2021.
During their time together, Barnett and McDermott embarked on a joint property renovation project. Kady recently revealed to The Sun in February 2022 that she had financially bought Myles out of his share of the property, stating she was "really happy about that" and was focusing on finishing the renovations and her fitness app.
