Pussycat Dolls fan fumes over Lil Kim's Glasgow gig

A Pussycat Dolls fan has fumed that the group "should have paid me" after being unimpressed by Lil Kim's performance at Glasgow's OVO Hydro. The rapper and singer was one of the support acts for the Pussycat Dolls' PCD Forever world tour, which stopped off in Glasgow on Wednesday, October 7.

The trio, made up of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, headlined the show, with Lil Kim and girl band Deja Vu also taking to the stage.

Fan's TikTok rant goes viral

However, one gig-goer was far from impressed with Lil Kim's set, taking to TikTok to share their thoughts during the show. The TikTok, posted by user @rhbtok, was captioned: "PCD should have paid me." It has since attracted more than 700 likes, with the fan appearing visibly frustrated as they filmed from inside the Hydro.

In the first clip, which appears to be filmed on the stairs at the venue, they said: "So Lil Kim is suppose to be on stage right now and she isn't on that stage. They've been playing her music since half seven. She's on the screen but she's not on stage."

Other fans share disappointment

The clip then cuts to a clip of Lil Kim performing on stage, before the camera returns to the fan, who continued their rant. They added: "Lil Kim hasn't sang one f**king song. She's just mimed on stage to other people's songs," as they screamed into the camera.

The TikTok gained plenty of attention from other gig-goers, with several taking to the comment section to share that they were equally disappointed by the performance.

One person fumed: "I was so confused. I kept to saying to folk where is everyone I paid 95 pound I also found out some folk paid 3 pound for their tickets and I was fuming."

Another wrote: "Had a dance to other people’s songs and then shouted over three of her own songs for half the duration of them." Adding a suggestion for Lil Kim and the Pussycat Dolls, they continued: "Absolutely atrocious performance lol. Should’ve stayed at home in the states and just had a DJ do an opener like Girls Aloud had."

Tour continues across UK and America

A third social media user agreed: "Why did she "perform" to more of other peoples music than her own. She was actually diabolical." Meanwhile, another user simply stated: "I’m so glad I didn’t get tickets."

The Pussycat Doll's headline gig in Glasgow forms part of their PCD Forever world tour. The tour sees Nicole, Ashley and Kimberly reunite on stage, for 53 dates touring across the UK and America. Originally the band was made up of six members, although Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton were not part of this reunion.
