Princess Andre's Emotional 2025 Recap Sparks Family Drama Over Reality Show
Princess Andre's post sparks family row over show appearances

Princess Andre has shared an emotional online reflection on a year packed with personal milestones and professional success, but her heartfelt post has inadvertently reignited a public row between her famous parents, Katie Price and Peter Andre.

A Year of Highs and Lows

The 18-year-old took to Instagram to mark the end of 2025, posting a series of snaps that highlighted her biggest achievements. These included passing her driving test, celebrating her 18th birthday, and the major coup of landing her own reality series on ITV, The Princess Diaries.

Addressing her almost one million followers, Princess wrote: "Wow… what a year. It's been full of highs and lows, emotional moments, and a lot of growth." She expressed pride in her accomplishments and gratitude for her supporters, adding a message of hope for those who found the year tough.

Show Success and Casting Controversy

The success of The Princess Diaries has been significant, with ITV commissioning two further series set to air in 2026. However, the question of which family members will appear alongside Princess as she documents her life and burgeoning career has become a point of contention.

Last series, mum Katie Price, 47, claimed she was excluded from participating. A source now reveals that Katie has filmed scenes for the upcoming episodes, appearing via video calls, marking a "quite the turnaround" from her previous ban. The source stated both Princess and Katie wanted her involvement.

Family Fallout and Future Filming

This development, however, has reportedly led to a reaction from Princess's father. Peter Andre, 52, and his wife, Emily MacDonagh, 36, are said to have decided to step away from the new series. Reports suggest the couple pulled out to prevent the ongoing row between Princess's parents from "overshadowing" her big moment.

The tension has been brewing publicly. On her podcast last year, Katie Price criticised the initial ban, hinting that Peter's former management team was responsible, saying: "Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me."

Princess is currently filming for the second and third seasons of her hit show, navigating both her rising fame and complex family dynamics as she steps further into the spotlight.
