Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) has finally discovered the truth about Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) connection to Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) in Emmerdale.
For weeks, Nicola believed her late husband Jimmy was in a secret relationship with Sadie for three years. Sadie spun this story to get close to Nicola and locate Jimmy’s hidden money, watching Nicola fall apart without a care.
The voice note revelation
At the King household, Nicola and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) snooped through Jimmy’s backup phone records and found a crucial voice note. In it, Jimmy told Sadie he was bringing her money and that it would be their final communication, adding that Nicola would kill him if she found out and that he ‘loves that woman to bits’.
The message proved Jimmy and Sadie were secretly in contact, but only because Jimmy was helping Sadie with her cash troubles. Nicola felt relieved but also furious at Sadie.
Public humiliation at the funeral
At the graveyard, in front of everyone, Nicola grabbed a bunch of flowers and repeatedly smacked Sadie with them. Sadie fell to the floor, humiliated, and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) took her away from the church.
Sadie threatened to reveal that Robert had taken Jimmy’s £150k, but he knew no one would believe her. Robert told Sadie to leave the village because no one wants her around anymore.
What’s next for Sadie
Sadie won’t exit yet. Next week, she will join forces with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) to destroy Caleb and Ruby Miligan (William Ash and Beth Cordingly). Sadie wants Ruby’s man, while Joe wants the Miligans to suffer after Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) death. Their partnership poses a dangerous threat—will they succeed?
