Crime drama Unforgettable, starring Poppy Montgomery, has climbed into Netflix's top 10 most-viewed list after arriving on the platform. The show originally aired for five years on CBS and follows Detective Carrie Wells, an NYPD detective with hyperthymesia, a condition that lets her visually recall every moment of her life.
Her remarkable memory helps her crack intricate cases, but she cannot remember the circumstances of her sister's childhood killing, a personal torment that persists throughout the series.
Fans call it an overlooked gem
Viewers have praised the drama since it landed on Netflix. One person called it the "best show I've seen in a while," while another described it as an "overlooked gem."
Another fan wrote: "I totally love everything about this show ... the concept is fantastic and actually believable!" A fellow user admitted: "I love Unforgettable. I'm actually on my third round of watching it."
Calls for a fifth series
Unforgettable ran for four series before being axed, and fans continue to ask for more. One viewer wrote: "Can someone please pick this show up for season five," while another echoed: "Please think about bringing this show and the original two stars back."
Another comment read: "Just watch one episode and you will get hooked. It is an amazing police show different from all the others...I hope that they renew this wonderful show."
