Keye Luke, a star from the E4 dating show Married at First Sight UK, has broken his silence on the end of his marriage to Davide Ancica. The couple, who were considered one of the strongest pairs on the show, have parted ways after tying the knot during the experiment.
In a statement shared with The Sun, Keye admitted to downloading Grindr in the early hours of a Sunday morning while Davide was on a flight. He insisted he was not looking to cheat or hook up, but was in a dark place and turned to the app as an unhealthy coping mechanism. Keye said: 'It had nothing to do with wanting someone else, it was about trying to numb myself and escape what I was feeling.'
Keye acknowledged that his actions broke trust, even if his intentions were not sexual. He stated: 'Davide found me with his profile and it cost me my marriage.' The couple had exchanged emotional final vows earlier in the week and were still together during the reunion episodes, but Keye has now confirmed the relationship is over.
Another MAFS UK couple, Reiss Boyce and Leisha Lightbody, have also split since the final vows. During the reunion special, Reiss explained that the relationship ended after Leisha made comments about footballers messaging her and said she would 'just get with a footballer' if things didn't work out with him. Reiss called things off after a night out where he felt Leisha was flirting with another man.
