Viewers of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! have accused the show's producers of fixing Monday night's Bushtucker Trial in favour of the camp's oldest star, Ruby Wax.
Jungle Fans Suspect Trial Was 'Simplified'
The 72-year-old comedian undertook the 'Misfortune Tellers' challenge, which involved receiving a psychic prediction before retrieving keys from boxes filled with bugs and snakes to win meals. She successfully secured five out of a possible ten stars for her hungry campmates.
However, fans watching at home quickly took to social media platform X to voice their suspicions that the challenge had been deliberately toned down for the veteran performer. Many alleged that editing may have been used to secretly grant her more time.
One viewer fumed: 'Easiest trial ever, clearly fixed for her.' Another commented: 'I mean of course they're gonna simplify a trial for Ruby she's 70 you freaks lol!' The sentiment was echoed by others who called the task 'too easy' and 'so rigged'.
Some were more understanding of the show's approach, with one person posting: 'Well, I'm not surprised this trail is easy, what do they expect a 70+ year old woman to do? Swim with crocodiles whilst wearing a blindfold?' Yet another viewer pointed to potential behind-the-scenes tricks, writing: 'I'm looking in my crystal ball again I see heavy editing on this trial.'
Camp Tensions Boil Over in Washing-Up Row
Elsewhere in the episode, the simmering tensions over camp chores erupted once again, this time between YouTube star AngryGinge (real name Morgan Burtwistle, 24) and former model Kelly Brook, 46.
The conflict centred on the camp's decision to eat their breakfast rice rations from their mugs instead of their designated food containers. AngryGinge was visibly frustrated at being left with the washing-up, complaining it had doubled his workload.
'Can we please stop eating rice out of cups?' he asked the group. He argued that eating directly from the containers would mean washing just ten items, instead of ten cups and ten containers.
Vogue Williams was first to defend the camp's choice, stating people had a right to a clean bowl for each meal. Kelly Brook supported this, explaining that using a cup for breakfast made it feel 'more like breakfast' and added variety.
AngryGinge hit back: 'So we're double the washing up because it feels a bit more like breakfast?' Kelly later explained in the Bush Telegraph that leaving food in containers attracted ants, making it unhygienic.
This clash followed the camp's recent discovery of rats, blamed on unwashed items—a wooden spoon and two cups—being left out overnight. Kelly had previously warned AngryGinge about the ant infestation this caused.
A Week of Fraying Nerves and Burnt Rice
As the competition entered its third and final week, the pressure continued to mount. The episode also featured a cooking mishap, where evicted campmate Eddie Kadi was tasked with making rice.
After putting the rice on to cook, Eddie left to take a shower. Kelly Brook immediately sensed trouble, telling the Bush Telegraph she could smell burning and criticising his decision to leave it unattended.
This is not the first time camp harmony has been disrupted by chores, with cooking and cleaning at the heart of several rows. From burnt rice to contraband scandals, the celebrities are feeling the strain as the finale approaches.
The series continues to showcase the diverse mix of campmates, from entertainment legends like Martin Kemp and Ruby Wax to social media stars like AngryGinge, all battling the elements—and each other's habits—for the coveted title.
