ITV has confirmed the start date for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! 2026, with the show returning on Monday, November 16, at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player. The announcement comes as the line-up was reportedly confirmed.
The reality show, which first aired in 2002, typically runs for three weeks in November and sees hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly present live from Australia's Gold Coast. The upcoming series marks the show's 24th year.
Festive promo and start date change
Last month, ITV launched the first-look promo for the show's return, featuring Ant and Dec as festive conductors putting a choir of carol singers through their paces as they attempt a rendition of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' with an I'm A Celeb-style twist. Gold rings and turtle doves are swapped for 'vomit smoothies' and 'two tonnes of mud' as the seven-piece choir, wearing Christmas jumpers, endure bushtucker challenges. "Isn't it the most wonderful time of the year," Dec said in the promo.
The original planned start date of Sunday, November 15, was pushed back due to ITV's coverage of the UEFA Nations League, with England playing Spain in Madrid at 8.45pm.
Reported line-up
The line-up has reportedly been confirmed to include Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, former Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney, Gavin and Stacey favourite Joanna Page and Paralympian Ade Adepitan. The Sun has also reported that Victoria's Secret model Leomie Anderson, Love Island star Chloe Burrows, YouTuber Sharky, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu, broadcaster Mariella Frostrup, comedian and TV star Leigh Francis and stand-up comic Jack Skipper are all set to head Down Under for the new series.
According to ITV: "As always with I'm A Celebrity… expect the unexpected." The show starts Monday, November 16, at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
