Jack Osbourne 'Shouldn't Be In Jungle' Says Ex-Campmate After Ozzy's Death
Dean McCullough: Jack Osbourne Shouldn't Be In Jungle

Former Campmate Voices Concern for Grieving Star

Dean McCullough, who starred in last year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, has expressed serious concerns about current campmate Jack Osbourne's participation in the ITV show, stating he 'shouldn't be in there' so soon after his father's passing.

The Radio 1 DJ, 33, believes the jungle environment is proving particularly challenging for Osbourne, who lost his legendary father Ozzy Osbourne just four months ago. The Black Sabbath icon died of heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22 aged 76.

Tensions Flare in Camp Amid Emotional Strain

Viewers have watched Jack, 40, experience emotional breakdowns and clash repeatedly with fellow campmate Kelly Brook, 45. The tensions first ignited over potato preparation techniques, with Brook criticising Osbourne's method, and have continued to simmer.

'I think Jack's going to struggle,' McCullough told BANG Showbiz at the ZYN Rolling Stone UK Awards. 'Just looking at him, you can tell in his eyes that he's dejected. I don't think he should be in there, if I'm being really honest. It's too soon.'

He elaborated on the psychological pressures, noting: 'His dad only died in July, and it's such a volatile, revealing, nerve-wracking place. There is nothing comfortable about the jungle. And I just feel like he needs a bit of support.'

Family Backlash and Production Support

The situation escalated when Jack's sister, Kelly Osbourne, launched a fiery defence of her brother on Instagram, branding Brook a 'bully' and 'performative'. The 41-year-old said the model's behaviour triggered her 'protective' instincts and even made her feel like 'attacking' the Heart Radio presenter.

Despite his concerns, McCullough praised the show's producers, confirming they maintain rigorous duty of care procedures. 'I know the team really well,' he said. 'We had a rigorous test before we went in there. I think he's being well looked after.'

This sentiment was echoed by a source speaking to The Sun, who revealed that I'm A Celebrity producers are 'monitoring Jack's situation intensely' given his visible dejection at times.

The latest clash between Osbourne and Brook occurred during Wednesday's episode when Jack offered to help Kelly prepare an eel after comedian Eddie Kadi won six stars during a trial. Although Brook accepted his offer, she later claimed to camera that Jack had 'elbowed' her aside, describing his behaviour as resembling 'a caveman'.

The ongoing feud and emotional strain have created a compelling yet concerning narrative for viewers, raising questions about the timing of participation in such demanding reality television following significant personal loss.
