Comedian Eddie Kadi has become the second celebrity to be eliminated from the 2025 series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The result of the public vote was announced during tonight's episode, leaving many viewers shocked and disappointed.
After receiving a warm farewell from his fellow campmates, Kadi sat down with hosts Ant and Dec to reflect on his 16 days in the jungle. Describing the experience as 'an incredible time', he said he felt a mix of 'happy and sad'. He added: 'I feel like I've been there for a year, honestly. It's literally changed my life.'
Kadi, who originally comes from Congo, spoke about how the experience gave him a deeper understanding of his heritage. 'Coming from Congo, we have a massive rainforest which I've never visited but I feel like I've had a taste of how my great grandparents and my grandparents would've grown up,' he explained. 'And now it explains why they were so humble, they just handled the bare minimum, made the best out of life and were joyful regardless of any situation.'
The comedian also praised campmate Jack Osbourne, with whom he formed a close bond. He expressed admiration for Osbourne's survival skills and knowledge, and said he wants him to win the show.
Fans took to social media to express their anger at Kadi's early exit. One wrote on X: 'I have never been more disappointed in the public till now, what do you mean Eddie is second out?' Another posted: 'NOBODY TALK TO ME. THE BRITISH PUBLIC WHAT ARE YOU DOING? EDDIE!?!?'
In other developments, the celebrities competed in a challenge called 'Blender Defenders' to win letters from home. All campmates received their letters except Jack Osbourne, as Vogue Williams, Martin Kemp and Eddie Kadi were unable to secure his. Despite Osbourne's attempts to downplay his disappointment, it was clear he was upset to miss out.
