Reality television star Charlotte Crosby has broken her silence on the current state of her long-running feud with fellow Geordie Shore alum Vicky Pattison. In an exclusive interview, Crosby offered a telling three-word remark that speaks volumes about their relationship status.
The Infamous Fallout
The origins of the rift between the two television personalities date back over a decade. The conflict reportedly began when Vicky Pattison allegedly accused Charlotte Crosby of copying her fitness DVD concept. The situation escalated when Pattison publicly described their shared show, Geordie Shore, as 'toxic', a comment that did not sit well with Crosby and other cast members.
Speaking to The Mirror, the 35-year-old mother of two was direct about their current communication, or lack thereof. 'We don't speak for obvious reasons,' Crosby stated, providing a clear indication that their differences remain unresolved despite the passage of time.
A Change in Perspective
Interestingly, Charlotte's stance has evolved over the years. In February of last year, she expressed a newfound understanding of why Vicky distanced herself from the show that made them both famous.
'She kind of turned her back on us. She did slag the show off and everything about it, and we weren't happy with her doing that,' Charlotte admitted. 'But now, looking at where I'm at now, I actually look back at that and think, actually, she'd just grown up.'
Crosby credits her changed perspective to her own life experiences, particularly becoming a mother to her two daughters, three-year-old Alba and nine-month-old Pixi. 'Now that I feel it, now that I've started a family, I totally kind of get where she was at,' she explained.
Moving Forward with New Projects
While the past remains unresolved, Charlotte Crosby is firmly focused on her present and future. She is returning to screens with her new Paramount+ reality show, 'Geordie Stories: Charlotte Mam of Two', which premieres on Wednesday, 19 November.
The show documents her journey balancing motherhood with her career, including her role as 'The Boss' on the Australian spin-off, Aussie Shore. Reflecting on filming with her family, Charlotte revealed the challenges of juggling both worlds.
'It wasn't as enjoyable because there was just too much to think about across the board,' she confessed. 'There's always a lot of overthinking because my kids are involved. You're very protective over your kids.'
Despite the difficulties, she found reassurance upon watching the final edit, realising her concerns about moments like her daughter Alba kicking a waitress were unfounded. 'Two-year-olds are two-year-olds,' she concluded.
As for her former Geordie Shore connections, Charlotte confirmed she remains close with several cast members, including Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei, whom she describes as her 'best friends'. The notable exceptions remain Vicky Pattison and her ex, Gary Beadle.
Looking ahead, Charlotte has set her sights on a potential return to the jungle, having previously appeared on the Australian version of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'. She believes her motivation would be entirely different now.
'I was so bad on the Australian version – I didn't care,' she recalled. 'I was younger, I had an attitude problem. I just saw it as a pay cheque. Whereas now, there are two young girls watching my every move and I've got something to prove to myself. To them, to the world.'
