BBC viewers believe they have worked out which star could be next to leave the Scottish Castle after a major slip-up from one person. On Thursday's Celebrity Traitors (October 15), the group was tasked with trying to catch another Traitor, after successfully managing to get Richard E. Grant out at the first Round Table.
While the majority of suspicions were on Hannah Fry, others were questioned in the group, including former EastEnders star Ross Kemp. Some of the group believe Ross could be one of the Traitors after he was one of the four people chosen to play a murderous game of hide and seek alongside Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
Ross Kemp defends his behaviour
Defending his behaviour on the show to plead his case as a Faithful, he said: "I wasn't recruited, I'm not a Traitor. I don't think there was a Traitor there last night. I looked at everybody when we got out of those cars. I thought I was going home. That was, honestly, an awful experience."
Comedian Joanne McNally commented: "It was horrible, it was- I wasn't there, but I heard it was. I was watching from my cloak with my lantern." Although she tried to make a joke over her blunder, the other celebrities caught what she said and looked at her suspiciously.
Viewers predict Joanne's fate
It comes after Richard E Grant, who was a Traitor, declared himself to be one hours into the show - and found himself the first to be banished after his gaffe. Although Joanne wasn't there when Ross, Romesh, Rob and Leigh-Anne awaited their fate, which saw Rob murdered, viewers are convinced the spotlight will now shift onto Joanne, who could find herself banished at the next Round Table.
On X, one person said: "Joanne randomly slipping up that she's a traitor, but she's not at all." Someone else wrote: "I do fear Joanne is absolutely f*****d at the next round table though, especially after throwing out a random vote for Bash when almost everyone else had gone for Hannah, even the actual traitors. It's not looking good for her #celebritytraitors"
Another added: "Joanne throwing herself under the bus when she's not even a traitor." One person commented: "Joanne voting for someone nobody is voting for, like Hannah's theory, she is the most traitor faithful ever." Someone else said: "Can't believe Joanne got away with the slip-up." While another person wrote: "Here we go. Bye, Joanne."
Hannah's exit and family discovery
In the end, Joanne managed to avoid being banished during Thursday's show, as it was Hannah Fry who left the castle, after revealing she was a Traitor to the group. This resulted in Maya Jama and James Acaster recruiting 29-year-old content creator King Kenny to join them to continue playing the game as a Traitor.
Following her exit from the castle, Hannah revealed that the person she was closest to was Joanne, who she discovered was a family relation. She said: "I really like Joanne. We actually discovered that we're cousins, by marriage. So her cousin is married to my cousin. We're basically sisters. I really loved her so much.
"She described herself as how she came out of the womb as a show pony. That’s the perfect description of that woman. She is phenomenal. She knows exactly who she is, and she is totally unapologetic about it. I cannot tell you how much I admire her. She's phenomenal."
Celebrity Traitors continues Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One from 8pm.
