Celebrity Traitors Fans Furious Over Cliffhanger Wait

Celebrity Traitors fans have expressed frustration after the hit BBC series ended on a cliffhanger, forcing them to wait another week to see if history will be made in the castle.

During the latest episode, the 20 remaining celebrities arrived at breakfast at Ardross Castle, where they learned that Amol Rajan had become the traitors' first victim. Meanwhile, James Acaster was recruited as a new traitor after Maya Jama and Richard E Grant asked him to join their side.

Second Mission and Roundtable Drama

The celebrities took part in their second mission, pairing up and being buried alive. Ross Kemp was shielded by the traitors, along with his partner Romesh Ranganathan. All celebrities were freed except Hannah Fry and Jerry Hall, who yelled "haggis" and landed herself and Hannah on the murder shortlist.

At the first roundtable, Julie Hesmondhalgh faced the first difficult questions. Most of the suspicion fell on Richard, with many around the table convinced he had been a traitor all along, especially after he accidentally revealed his position on the first night.

History-Making Potential

The credits rolled as Claudia Winkleman ended the roundtable discussion, leaving viewers waiting until Thursday night for the next installment. If Richard is banished, he would become the first traitor ever to be banished during the first roundtable across all UK versions of the show.

On X, one viewer wrote: "That finished quick! I think we will lose Richard! I was hoping he would save himself!" Another added: "I GOT TO WAIT 6 DAYS TO FIND OUT IF RICHARD SURVIVES??" A third echoed: "i can’t handle waiting a week would be huge if they did banish richard", and someone else penned: "How can they end on that cliffhanger?!!!!!"
