Viewers of the BBC's Celebrity Traitors have issued the same complaint about two stars during Friday night's episode, branding the remaining traitors "boring" after Richard E Grant's historic exit.
Presenter Maya Jama, comedian James Acaster and newly-recruited Hannah Fry have been tasked with being traitors, but not everyone is impressed with their performances.
Richard E Grant's record-breaking exit
Richard E Grant recently made history when he was booted out of the show. The actor received a record-breaking 18 votes from his fellow celebrity contestants, including from both of his fellow traitors, Maya and James Acaster. It was the first time a traitor has been banished on the first vote of the show.
Richard, who accidentally revealed he was a traitor in the first episode, said: "I have been annihilated," when he exited the show on Thursday (October 8).
Viewers call remaining traitors 'boring'
Following his departure, fellow traitors Maya and James recruited mathematician and broadcaster Hannah to join them. It comes after Richard and Maya had previously got rid of Amol Rajan in favour of comic James, but viewers have now issued the same complaint as they branded the remaining traitors "boring".
One X user fumed: "Loving Celebrity Traitors but they have chosen some right boring traitors (except Richard who fluffed it immediately)."
Another echoed: "This years celebrity traitors has the most boring traitors so I just want Miranda to win as a faithful or something."
A third typed: "I'm finding #CelebrityTraitors a bit boring this year! The Traitors aren't evil enough. Come onnnnn (sic)."
"Yes, it's really boring. They're all too risk averse and conscious of how they're coming across. There's no energy," a fourth complained.
"The traitors are a bit gormless...Alan Carr spoilt us," a viewer chimed.
A sixth penned: "They've picked really poor traitors this year! So annoyed Richard messed up, he was a proper traitor!!"
Another viewer disagreed: "I find the fact that both Hannah and James A really wanted to be Faithfuls makes it fascinating. They are suffering being 'bad'. I also think the way that the herd mentality is coming to the fore is a terrifying look at human nature! I have to disagree with you, it's great."
Latest banishment and return details
Meanwhile, Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondhalgh was banished from The Celebrity Traitors on Friday night. Earlier in the episode, the Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey became the second faithful to be murdered on the series.
The Celebrity Traitors returns on Thursday at 8pm on BBC One.
