The Celebrity Traitors 2026 final is scheduled for Friday, October 30 at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the second series extended to 10 episodes after attracting 10.3 million viewers for its third episode.
The official date has yet to be confirmed by the BBC, but no scheduling changes are expected. The semi-final will take place the day before, on Thursday, October 29, meaning fans will not have to wait a full week for the outcome as they did last year.
Record Viewership for the Second Series
The new series has been a success for the BBC, with an average of 8.9 million viewers watching the launch episode. The third episode, broadcast on Thursday, October 8, drew 10.3 million Brits, who watched Traitor Richard E. Grant become the first Traitor in UK history to be banished at the first Round Table.
However, the Faithfuls' winning streak did not last, as they went on to banish two of their own - Myha'la and Julie Hesmondhalgh. Recruited Traitor Hannah Fry managed to survive another week despite being under the spotlight.
Extended Run and Current Traitors
Last year, Alan Carr's journey to winning the Celebrity Traitors covered nine episodes, with his victory taking place in a slightly longer finale on November 6, 2025. This year's series has been commissioned as a slightly longer run, with 10 episodes.
At the time of writing, the Traitors are currently Maya Jama, James Acaster and Hannah Fry. However, with both James and Hannah looking to crumble under the pressure, this grouping could change in upcoming episodes.
