Johanne Cade, 44, has become the third housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house during tonight's live show (October 2). The public vote was for the person fans wanted to see sent home, rather than to save.
Johanne and Rochelle Rackham, 57, were the two fan favourites put at risk following nominations earlier this week. Johanne received four nominations from Frankie, Lynx, Rhianna and Rochelle, while Rochelle received six from Harry, Johanne, Lynx, Philip, Rhianna and Yasmin. Three housemates - Samuel, Pauline and Omar - were unable to nominate at all as their votes were stripped as part of the House of Nothing twist.
Clashes and nominations
Johanne and Rochelle have been two of the show's biggest characters, frequently clashing throughout their time on the show and both becoming firm fan favourites. Their latest spat ended with them both in tears in the Diary Room and came after they failed to reach a decision on who should lose their nomination powers.
After the latest nomination results were revealed, Rochelle joked: "They're [housemates] saying 'It's like two boxers going up against each other and you can't call it' and I think that's quite funny. I want to be Tyson Fury though because I like him and I know he'd buy me a Chanel bag."
Eviction and fan reactions
Nearly one million votes had already been cast by the start of tonight's show, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed, and there had been "well over" that number by the time lines closed. In the end, it was Johanne who received the most votes and became the third star to leave, with Rochelle shouting "Good f****** riddance," after her as she walked out.
Fans were quick to react to the eviction and took to social media to share their thoughts. "Well it was nice watching Big Brother this year I'm done," one vented. "Don't get too comfortable Rochelle dorlin, you're next," a second added. "I am screaming 'good f****** riddance' hahahaha," another penned, remarking on Rochelle's words to her rival. Yet another viewer remarked: "Rochelle wasn't a**** about upsetting Joanne then."
One fan of both the personalities said: "Both were tv gold, was gonna be gutted either way, doesn't deserve to be booed tho for all the entertainment she's given us." Big Brother continues on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
