Big Brother star fears for life after witchcraft threat

Big Brother housemate Frankie Taber has told producers he fears for his life after a fellow contestant allegedly threatened him with witchcraft.

During last night's episode, Frankie retreated to the Diary Room to voice his concerns about Twinks Burnett, who identifies as a witch. The confession came after a row earlier in the week in which Twinks told Frankie, Harry and Sam about her belief in energy and the power of people.

Confrontation over beliefs

Twinks was later confronted about her beliefs by Omar, clarifying that she thinks all the women in her life are powerful witches in their own right. 'I'm just a powerful woman, babe,' she told Omar. 'If you're scared of witches, then you're scared of the matriarchy.'

When Omar asked if she had ever ridden a broomstick, Twinks replied that he would need to worry about 'her coven on the outside'.

'My life is at risk'

The exchange clearly left an impression on Frankie, who told Big Brother: 'She is basically threatening me with witches on the outside of here! I don't know how serious you take these topics. You can joke and laugh about it, but just because it isn't physical doesn't mean it's not a serious situation. I'm getting threatened with witchcraft on Big Brother.'

Frankie complained that he has to live in a house 'with someone who's attempting to do witchcraft on me'. He added: 'I don't think you understand the seriousness of what you've brought in here and what we're f****** with. My life is at risk now.'

Big Brother continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Metro has contacted ITV for comment.
