Big Brother housemate Rochelle has sparked backlash after making a 'disrespectful' comment about her co-star Lynx during Tuesday's episode (November 3). The 57-year-old is one of eight housemates hoping to claim the 2026 crown in this week's live final, set to air on Thursday, November 5, followed by a special reunion episode on Friday.
Diary Whom Game Exposes Confessions
Viewers have followed this year's cast for eight weeks and witnessed a string of feuds in the house. But Big Brother set out to fuel even more drama by exposing private Diary Room moments with a game called Diary Whom, which aired on Tuesday. The house heard eight Diary Room confessions, one from each housemate still on the show.
However, their identities were concealed and it was up to the players to uncover who was behind each confession and who they were talking about. Tensions rose when it was Rochelle's turn to guess which housemate had called her a "narcissist".
Rochelle's Remark About Lynx
A clip played revealing that the hidden housemate said: "Rochelle is a massive narcissist. Every conversation I have ever had with Rochelle she has always linked it back to herself. Every single time, without fail, and it is driving me insane in this house."
The housewife correctly guessed that Sam made that brutal comment about her and won points for the Girls' team but she then made a remark about Lynx that left viewers reeling. Rochelle said: "I knew it wouldn't be Lynx, the words were too big," before adding: "I know he wouldn't say that." Lynx appeared visibly hurt by the comment but stayed silent.
Viewers React
However, viewers at home rushed to his defence and branded Rochelle's words as "vile" and "disrespectful". Someone fumed: "What a disrespectful comment!!". Another viewer fumed: "She is just Vile. She just wants to mock everyone around her to boost her ego."
Another viewer posted: "Lynx is very well spoken (how dare she!) He's balanced, thinks before he speaks, hasn't said anything inflammatory that I can remember. He is mature, a calming influence and a real cool cat." A third fan added: "Lynx is IMO an articulate and elegant communicator. No idea what rochelle is on about," while another person questioned: "bro basically just called lynx stupid and no one said anything???"
Others quickly noticed Lynx's reaction as one supporter shared: "Lynx looked genuinely hurt," and someone else agreed: "Bless Lynx was hurt by that." But some people have shut down the complaints and argued that Rochelle was suggesting that she understands her fellow housemates' speaking habits, instead of implying that Lynx doesn't know "big words". "I believe she meant that it's the style in which Sam talks, and Lynx doesn't speak in that manner. I think she just doesn't say things in the best way," posted one. Someone else shared the same verdict: "It wasn't meant that way, it was meant in a way to say that it's not the typical words he uses."
