Take That have announced a "one night only" UK gig in November to celebrate the launch of their new studio album, Dreamers. The special gig will include exclusive world-first performances of tracks from the album, interspersed with conversation from the band's Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald.
The news broke as fans were speculating what new announcements the band were likely to make after several teases about what's to come. Last month the band announced their biggest ever European tour in 2027, with the promise of "more dates to follow".
One-night-only event at London Palladium
Then earlier this week their official social media pages announced: "We've been dreaming something else up". Now, news of the new London Palladium gig have started to land in fans' inboxes.
Fans who are signed up to the official Take That newsletter were first to hear the news, with a big announcement about the UK gig directly from the band. The event is billed as "Take That Dreamers - For One Night Only", the week before the release of their 10th studio album.
In it, they wrote: "We're excited to announce that we are bringing Dreamers to the London Palladium on Friday 13th November. Celebrating the new album with an exclusive evening of conversation and live performance for one night only."
Ticket sale details and fan codes
It added that fans signed up to the emailing list will get "exclusive acccess" to the ticket sale with unique codes sent out. The ticket sale will begin at 10am on Friday, October 9, although fans are already prepared for a huge online queue to be in with a chance of tickets to the special show.
It's set to be a busy November for the trio, with the formal release of the album on November 20. The following night they will appear on home turf in Manchester at the big Hits Radio Live gig at Co-op Live on November 21 which swiftly sold out after they were confirmed to appear.
Busy November and 2027 tour plans
The Co-op Live gig comes fresh from Take That's triumphant return to home turf in Manchester in the summer, when they played five huge gigs at the Etihad Stadium on their rebooted Circus Live tour. Since then, they also stunned fans by announcing they will head back out on tour in 2027 fresh from the launch of their new album Dreamers.
It marks the band's biggest European run "in years" with 31 shows in 31 cities across 16 countries. Tantalisingly for fans across the world, they also stated in the announcement that "more shows to be announced in the coming weeks".
The only UK and Ireland dates currently confirmed on the 2027 tour schedule will be in Belfast at the Belsonic festival in Ormeau Park on June 30, and in Limerick on July 3 at Thomond Park stadium.
How to get tickets
Tickets for the Take That show at London Palladium on Friday November 13, will go on sale from 10am on Friday, October 9. The band have announced that tickets will be available to fans through a special code sent to those who subscribe to their emails.
A maximum of two tickets will be able to be purchased per code. It appears unlikely a general sale of tickets will follow due to expected demands from the fan sale.
