Bon Jovi's return
The rock band, who last headlined in 2013 for the first edition of the BST event, will perform on Thursday, June 24 as part of their Bon Jovi Forever Tour. It marks their fifth time returning to the iconic park, with appearances in 2000, 2003, 2011 and 2013, and frontman Jon Bon Jovi described their return as a “full circle moment”.
RAYE, who recently performed a one-off concert at the Royal Albert Hall called This Symphony May Contain Hope, will be taking her new show around the world next year with performances in China, Switzerland, Italy, the US, Australia, and Ghana.
Mercury Prize win
Further details, including specific dates and venues, will be announced on December 10, 2026. For tickets and more information, visit RAYEofficial.com. The announcement of the singer’s upcoming hometown performance at BST comes just weeks after she won the Mercury Prize for her second album This Music May Contain Hope.
The record, which includes the songs Where Is My Husband!, Nightingale Lane and Joy, was released in March and debuted at number one. Collecting the award on stage in Newcastle, she told the crowd: “Hope is a very cheesy word, you know, especially for us British people. We don’t do that kind of deep stuff like that, but hope is just something that we all need, and music is medicine.”
And reflecting on the win in an Instagram post, she said: “Being able to even create an album is a privilege I will never take for granted. Though this music may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I can confirm that album of was created with so much HEART (and so many hearts).”
