GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek ends leaks after failed crypto goal

The GTA 6 leaker known as Cyberleek has posted what they say is their final video after failing to reach a $30 million (£22.8 million) cryptocurrency goal, but warned that story spoilers could still be published if Take-Two or Rockstar takes action against them.

Failed crypto goal ends leak campaign

Cyberleek, who has been posting clips since August, claimed the leaks were a protest against the lack of a physical disc version of GTA 6. They have also been receiving crypto donations and reportedly ran off with around £200,000 a couple of months ago.

After returning earlier this month with nude clips, Cyberleek said they would release the full build of GTA 6 — supposedly over 200GB in size — if a memecoin reached a $30 million market cap. That milestone was not met, and Cyberleek posted an update on their website, which has since been taken down, stating the build will not be released.

Final clip and dead man's switch warning

Instead, Cyberleek released a 20th video, which they claim shows a clip from 'the final missions' but 'out of context' so nothing is spoiled. The clip shows Lucia visiting a barbershop, playing pool in a bar, and trying on outfits in a basketball shop to the song Don't Stop Believin' by Journey, before cutting to transition shots over the game's city landscape.

Cyberleek claims they have the ending of GTA 6 with story spoilers, but will not release it unless Take-Two or Rockstar takes action against them. 'The dead man's switch is active – story spoilers only,' the post reads. 'Left alone, it never fires. Whoever removes CL [Cyberleek] chooses it.'

Launch approaching

Cyberleek concluded their statement with the promise that the 'leeks stop here', albeit 'for now'. GTA 6 is set to launch across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on November 19, 2026.
