Newcastle Christmas Market 2026 will open on Saturday, November 14, and run through to Wednesday, December 23, with stalls at Monument, Grey Street, Grainger Street, and Nelson Street, plus a Christmas Village at Old Eldon Square.
The market will be open from 10am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
Locations and Attractions
This year's market will take place in the same locations as last year. The North Pole dining igloos will return at Grey's Monument, along with the Alpine bar Moosenwirt. Old Eldon Square will again host a large Christmas Village, featuring attractions such as the Santa's Stories tipi, Mrs Claus' Bakery, the Rockin' Reindeer stage, and Festive Flix. The big wheel in Old Eldon Square will be higher than last year, offering riders better views of the city.

Ticketed Events
Attractions in the Christmas Village can be booked in advance. Santa's Stories, opening on Saturday, November 21, has tickets priced from £10.50 for children and £6.50 for adults. Shows at the Rockin' Reindeer Stage are priced from £7.50, the same price as tickets for the Festive Flix cinema, which will show films including Home Alone 2, Elf, and Love Actually. It will open on November 27. Mrs Claus' Bakery will open on November 21, with tickets from £5.
